Join us on Tuesday, June 8, for a general membership meeting where we'll present our strategic plan that will help guide us for the next 40 years. After a yearlong strategic planning process undergone by the National Board, with input from the Advisory Board, our chapter and affinity group leaders, and other AAJA leaders, we are excited and proud to share our strategic priorities. You can help us shape our vision as we move forward and help us identify strategies for success. Find the draft of our strategic plan here and submit to us your feedback and input here by June 30. Visit AAJA Careers or follow @AAJACareers on Twitter to stay up-to-date on our career, internship, and other opportunities. - *Deadline Extended* AAJA Wiki Scholars Course: AAJA is partnering with Wiki Education to run a 6-week course for its members to learn how to add high-quality biographies of Asian American and Pacific Islander journalists to Wikipedia. With support from the Wikimedia Foundation as part of its campaign to amplify and address gaps in AAPI history, 20 AAJA members will participate in an in-depth, structured training on how to create and/or update existing biographies of AAPI journalists. - AAJA-Seattle is accepting applications for the Northwest Journalists of Color scholarships and the NJC-PNW Guild Conference Scholarship 2021: These scholarships are open to anyone on the path to graduating from or who has graduated from a Washington state high school as well as anyone who is attending a public or private college in Washington state.
