🌠 SPOTLIGHT: Leezel Tanglao, 2020-2022 Convention Programming Committee co-lead

Leezel Tanglao, Assistant Managing Editor, Digital @ The Dallas Morning News

CPC co-chair 2020-2022

"Joining AAJA's CPC is the best way you can contribute to the crucial conversations facing our industry today. Instead of watching from the sidelines and wondering why they didn't cover this issue or topic, be part of the conversation by joining the CPC. Help decide the topics that impact everyone from students to veteran journalists. Help surface and highlight community issues that need more attention from journalists. Also, it's a great way to work with a team from all over the country and disciplines that will last beyond the convention."

Thank you, Leezel, for your leadership on the Convention Programming Committee! Apply to the CPC for #AAJA24 in Austin, Texas by Monday, Feb. 5.
