AAJA members covered President Donald Trump's trip to Asia where he met with Sanae Takaichi, Japan’s first female prime minister on Tuesday, Oct. 27 and gave a special address at the APEC 2025 CEO Summit in Gyeongju, South Korea on Wednesday, Oct. 28. Trump's visit was also met with anti-Trump protesters in South Korea.

JCamp This year’s JCamp students reported in Seattle’s neighborhoods on a variety of topics ranging from beloved Pike Place landmarks to how local communities are being affected by national policies. Here are a few highlights:

Board Meeting AAJA will hold its Governing Board Meeting on Sunday, November 16, from 7-8:30 p.m. ET.

AAJA-D.C. had a brunch and book talk about Sara Kehaulani Goo's new book, “Kuleana: A Story of Family, Land, and Legacy in Old Hawai’i" on Sunday, Oct. 19.

AAJA's San Diego State University Student Group hosted a Filipino Journalists Panel in honor of Filipino American History Month on Monday, Oct. 20.
