- Volunteer and Opportunity Rate: Volunteer and Opportunity Rate applications are open and are visible to current members. To access them, log into your AAJA account and look for the header at the far right, titled “Funding for AAJA24.”
- Chapter stipends:
- AAJA-Los Angeles is offering ten convention stipends to help cover registration fees. Fill out the form to be considered by Thursday, April 25.
- AAJA-Texas is offering convention stipends for current students and professionals in need. Fill out the form by Tuesday, April 30.
- AAJA-Washington, D.C. is offering nine $1,000 stipends to help members get to AAJA24. To be considered, fill out this form by Wednesday, May 1.
- AAJA-San Francisco Bay Area is offering $500 stipends to convention attendees. Fill out the form by Sunday, May 5.
- Read our FAQ for questions, including our Covid-19 policy for #AAJA24. We strongly encourage our attendees to be vaccinated to attend.

Resources AAJA released a statement offering resources to journalists affected by recent layoffs. Some of our resources include consideration for waived membership fees and our career center that allows journalists to find job postings and connect with recruiters. Read the full statement here. |
| Be on the alert for phishing emails that reference AAJA. Even if the sender claims to be someone from AAJA, it could be a scam if the content sounds strange. Some examples are odd asks, an irregular greeting, or suspicious grammar. Make sure to double check with the actual person before taking any action or replying. |
