| | Meet our new intern AAJA-HQ Congratulations to Diya Murthy, recipient of the AAJA HQ National summer internship! Read more about her below: |
| Diya is a rising junior at Arizona State University majoring in Political Science & Philosophy with a minor in Economics. She worked with the private, public and non profit sectors, beginning her journey on a local level with the City of Chandler Human Resources and Law Department. This inspired her to delve deeper into state politics, interning as a Senate Page for the Arizona State Senate. This experience exposed Diya to advocacy work and the prospect of advocating for the AANHPI community. Through interning for organizations like APAICS and AAJA, Diya has expanded her knowledge of AANHPI issues and is excited to continue advocating for the rights of Asian Americans, Native Hawaiians and Pacific Islanders everywhere. |
